This 9 day Uganda safari is a long tour that shall take you to different tourism attractions within the country. Tour Plan
On this day, our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and you will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park. The journey to Lake Mburo National Park will take approximately 4 hours and during the drive, you will stop over at the Equator. Upon arrival in Lake Mburo, you shall check in your lodge, have meals and later, you will drive to the park for a wonderful game viewing experience. You will look out for zebra, giraffes, hyena, cheetah, warthogs, Uganda kobs, antelopes, Topis, and other species. By evening hours, you would have witnessed a great experience.
On this day, you will participate in a great game viewing experience; you will wake up in the morning, have breakfast and later drive to the park for game viewing up to lunch time. After lunch, you will embark on the boat cruise where you will witness many wildlife species such as the hippopotamus, crocodiles and others.
In the evening, you will return to the lodge where you will be offered with the perfect meals.
On this day, you will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will wake up early in the morning after breakfast and you will be driven for about 3 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is the most visited National Park in Uganda. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge, relax and afterwards, you will drive to the park for game viewing up to evening hours. During the game drive, you will witness various wildlife species. Queen Elizabeth National park is home to the big 4- lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards and many more species. one of the highlight of the park’s visit is to look out for tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of the Park. By evening hours, you will have many wonderful memories.
Early in the morning, you will take a detailed game viewing experience. you will look out for some of the wildlife species to haven’t witnessed so far. It will be a great time to drive around the park. The Game drive will run until lunch time. After lunch, you will relax, and later you will go for a boat cruise along the kazinga channel where you will spot various hippopotamus and crocodiles plus many bird species.
Early in the morning, you will participate in the game drive until lunch. And afterwards, you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park. Upon arrival in Kibale, you will relax at the lodge
Early in the morning, you will visit the park headquarters where you will be briefed about chimpanzees and later with the help of an armed park ranger, you will start trekking through the Kibale rain forest in search of the chimpanzees. Chimpanzees are easily noticeable , they make loud sounds. After seeing a particular chimpanzees group, you will stay around the chimpanzees for an hour and afterwards,you will return to the park headquarters. Later, ;you will be driven to lodge where you will be offered with amazing meals.
Early in the morning, you will take a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp where you will witness many bird species. Afterwards, you will be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking. It takes approximately 5 hours to drive to Bwindi. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge, have meals and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
This day is one of the highlight of this entire trip. During this day, you will visit Bwindi Impenetrable National park for gorilla trekking. You will start the day by visiting the park headquarters where you will be briefed about gorillas. After being allocated the gorilla group to trek, you will start moving into the Bwindi forest with an armed park ranger who will be instrumental in ensuring that you witness the gorillas. The park ranger is always informed about the previous gorilla group location. He will use his expertise by interpreting the different signs left behind to ensure that you locate the current location of the gorillas. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with the gorillas where you will take many photos. You will stay about 10 meters away from the gorillas. After this experience, you will return to the park headquarter where you will receive gorilla trekking certificate and afterwards, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight
During this day, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kampala which will mark the end of this safari.
