The 7 day Uganda safari is a long safari that will allow you to have a detailed experience in Uganda. Uganda is among the best game viewing destinations in Africa. The country is home to the Mountain gorillas, and gorilla trekking is a top attraction in the country. Besides Mountain gorillas, Uganda hosts various wildlife species such as the African big 5- lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. Other wildlife species to expect include the chimpanzees, warthogs, antelopes, topis, zebra, hyena, cheetah, giraffes, antelopes, hartebeest, oribis and many others.
During this 7 day Uganda safari, you will visit Lake Mburo National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

This safari is expected to start by the visit to Lake Mburo. Our tour guide will visit your pick up location in Kampala or Entebbe and drive you to Lake Mburo National Park. It takes approximately 4 hours to drive up to Lake Mburo National park. It is likely that you will stop at the Equator. Afterwards, you will continue your journey to Lake Mburo National park. Upon arrival in Lake Mburo, you will drive to the lodge where you will refresh, have some meals and afterwards, you will drive to the park for game viewing. Lake Mburo hosts various species such as giraffes, zebra, hyena, cheetah, antelopes, hartebeest, Oribi, and others. In the evening, you will retire to the lodge where you will be served with the perfect meals.
Lake Mburo National Park has two options for game viewing: through the game drive and boat cruise. During this day, you will participate in both the game drive and boat cruise. Early in the morning, you will start the day with the game drive where you will look out for some of the species that you could have missed during the previous day. After lunch, you will participate in a wonderful boat cruise where you are likely to witness hippopotamus and crocodiles. The boat cruise offers that relaxing feel in the midst of the African wilderness. In the evening, you will return to the lodge where you will be offered with the perfect dinner and overnight
On this day, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park for a wonderful game viewing experience. Queen Elizabeth offers the chance to witness the big 4- lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards. Other species to expect in the park include the warthogs, cheetah, hyena, giraffes, zebra, antelopes, bushbuck, and many more. You will drive for 3 hours up to the park. Upon arrival, you will participate in the game drive along the Kasenyi trail. By evening hours, you would have witness many wildlife species.
On this day, you will participate in the boat cruise and game drive. The boat cruise will enable you to witness various instinctive and non-instinctive wild behaviors of crocodiles, hippopotamus and other water species. During the game drive, you will likely look out for tree climbing lions along the Ishasha sector. By evening hours, you would have witnessed many wild experiences. After the sunset, you will return to the lodge where you will be served with delicious meals. There are both luxury and budget lodges in Queen Elizabeth National park that offer the best hospitality services to the clients.
Early in the morning, you will continue with the game drive until lunch time. During this time, you will be looking out for some of the wildlife species that you could have missed out during the previous game drive sessions. After lunch, you will start driving to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will check in your lodge, relax and have dinner
This is among the highlight of this entire trip. On this day, you will visit the park headquarters where you will be briefed about what to expect, you will be offered a particular gorilla group to trek and afterwards, you will start to hike through the thick Bwindi forest under the guidance of an armed park ranger in search of the gorillas. You will have a remarkable experience trekking through Bwindi. Park rangers are experienced personnel who use the different signs left behind by the gorillas to know their current location. After some hours of trekking, usually 1-8 hours, you will be able to spot the gorillas. When you see the gorillas, you easily forget about the trekking and just enjoy the experience. It is always a remarkable time to see the gorillas. You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas and later, you will return to the park headquarters where you will meet the tour guide who will drive you back to the lodge.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will start your journey to Kampala or Entebbe International airport
